The Nordic Lymphoma Group (NLG) is conducting combined clinical and biological studies within the Nordic countries. The aims of the research are to increase insight in pathogenesis, clinical and molecular prognostic factors, as well as to improve treatment and survival for lymphoma patients. National quality registries are used to generate updated population based data on incidence and survival for the different lymphoma entities. The strong emphasis in molecular research, the integration of biological,  clinical and epidemiological aspects, and the collaboration both within the Nordic countries and with other international study groups, are the main characteristics of our efforts.
